Review
This review applies to version 4.3
The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our
informers.
SonicStage is an integrated music utility that allows you to import music from a variety of sources designed to maximize music enjoyment, both on the computer and on the go. Whether you have your music on a CD, use online music services or in your computer“s hard disk, SonicStage will register them in the My Library music database where all tracks can be managed in various ways. For example, you can custom compilations, search by artist names or genre, rearrange the order of the tracks, and more.
To take your music to go, tracks can be transferred from My Library to a portable device/media, or written to a CD-R/CD-RW so you can take them anywhere you want.
Three basic screens exist within SonicStage and can be accessed depending on the operations you want to perform. Music Source where you can bring music files into My Library database. My Library which is the all tracks/album/playlist view where all albums in My Library can be sorted by properties such as album name, artist name, genre or date imported and the Transfer screen which can transfer tracks to Hi-MD device, Net MD device, ATRAC audio device, memory stick compatible device, Network Walkman, Portable IC Audio Player and VAIO Music Clip or write tracks to a CD-R/CD-RW. |
- The Transfer screen is very simple to use
|
- Sony music store (Connect) closed, ATRAC format is obsolete
